Reinhard R. Augustin has over 35 years of professional experience as accountant, tax advisor, and business consultant in Germany and the US.

From 1985 to his retirement in 1999, Mr. Augustin was a US Partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in New York City serving as their National Director for German clients in the US.
Mr. Augustin`s role was to identify the service needs of German clients in the US, to consult with practice offices across the US and in Germany in developing service plans, and to contribute to the various service teams his in-depth knowledge of German and international accounting and reporting standards, international tax issues, and thorough understanding of the many cultural and business differences between the US and Germany.
   
In a number of transactions Mr. Augustin assumed the lead role in providing professional services by PwC: From 1995 to 1996 he was the global lead partner for all PwC services provided to a major German corporation in leading that company to a successful global IPO, and in 1998 he led the US team servicing a large German corporation in their acquisition of a major US automotive company.

Mr. Augustin began his professional career in Germany with an international accounting firm in Hamburg, Germany and in 1976 he became partner and Managing Partner of the Hamburg office of Arthur Young (now Ernst & Young). In addition to his administrative responsibilities, Mr. Augustin continued to service numerous clients, including manufacturing companies for industrial and consumer goods, mineral oil companies, trading companies, media businesses, and selected high net worth individuals.

Mr. Augustin received his degree as a Master of Economics (Dipl. Volkswirt) from the University of Kiel in Germany and is a certified Wirtschaftsprüfer.
